ABC Map (deprecated)
ABC Maps adds structured location, directions, imprint, license, and legal information to HumHub spaces, helping communities display verified address data, maps, contact details, and owner information in a clear, accessible, and mobile-friendly way.
ABC Maps is a HumHub module for adding rich location and imprint information to spaces. It helps each space present where it is located, how users can get there, who is responsible for it, and which legal or organizational information belongs to it.
The module was created for directory-style platforms where location accuracy, transparency, and trust are important. It can support address fields, Google Maps links, OpenStreetMap display, contact details, license information, company or organization registration data, VAT details, opening hours, and space-specific legal text.
ABC Maps is especially useful for school directories, church directories, local business directories, tourism platforms, care networks, community portals, and any HumHub installation where spaces represent real-world organizations or locations.
Within the ABC Suite ecosystem, ABC Maps provides the practical foundation for “Map Imprint” pages. These pages combine directions, public location data, and legal transparency in one place. This makes it easier for users to find an organization, verify essential information, and understand who is responsible for the displayed space.
The module supports the ABC Suite focus on accessibility, usability, compliance, and international directory structures.
